Hope

It only feels like moments ago that we were celebrating New Year’s Day, and now we’re three weeks into the year!

Lamlash House is still currently temporarily closed due to the new Lockdown. We’re keeping ourselves busy with tasks and chores, along with planning, but have to admit that we’re missing the social interaction. It definitely feels like hibernating.

However, there is hope - from a pandemic perspective the vaccine is being rolled out, and we’re already hearing of some family members and friends receiving their first dose, although the process is going to take some time to reach everyone.

There is hope too seeing sunshine today and snowdrops have popped up in the garden - a sign that spring is just around the corner. Roll on better weather, some warmth and being able to get outside more.

While the rest of this year is uncertain, and we may not be back to ‘business as usual’ anytime soon, we need to keep faith that normality will return will return at some point.
