From delicate finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones to handmade cakes and premium teas, every Afternoon Tea is carefully prepared using quality ingredients and beautifully presented to create an experience you'll remember long after the last cup has been poured.

Choose from an extensive tea menu, including our Lamlash House loose tea blend and add a touch of sparkle to the occasion with a glass of champagne, prosecco or a sparkling cocktail served from the Art Deco styled Strongroom Bar. A sample menu is provided below.

Throughout the year special public Afternoon Tea events are hosted at the house and individual bookings can be made for private parties to enjoy the Afternoon Tea experience too. Private parties require a minimum of 10 guests and are subject to availability and a hire charge.

Afternoon Tea is served in the Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired Banking Hall, the Victorian Parlour and the Library.

Due to the small scale and exclusive nature of the venue, deposits are required to secure bookings and some events are subject to sufficient numbers.

Our events fill up quickly when they become available to book and guests are recommended to book online promptly. Previous Afternoon Teas have sold out within 2 days of being advertised.

For new bookings, a booking is not confirmed until a £15 deposit per person has been processed online and this will be on a first come basis. You will then receive an email with a unique reference number.

Please note only Vegetarian and Gluten Free dietary alterations are available for our public Afternoon Tea events due to the nature of the ingredients. We are unable to offer a Vegan/Dairy Free alternative.
