Keeping History Alive at Lamlash House

Those who live locally may have noticed the recent activity outside Lamlash House.

We have been busy digging a deep hole to accommodate a steel post for a heritage interpretation panel.

The panel details the history of Lamlash House and the significance of the stained glass windows.

This work was possible due to grant funding from the Ayrshire Rural and Islands Ambition (ARIA) Fund.

This project aims to raise awareness of the rich history in the area and complements the community heritage project which has been carried out in the vicinity by Vibrant Communities and Greener Communities at East Ayrshire Council.
