Mitchell Family Return Home for Dinner 130 Years On

We were pleased on the 3rd of January to host a private dinner party for the Mitchell family. It is 130 years ago this year since Bank Agent, Robert Carmichael Mitchell completed Lamlash House (formerly Bank House) and the family of 8 moved in.

130 years later, it was fitting as the Victorian house celebrates the start of its milestone year, the Mitchell family has returned for dinner in the Bank Manager's Parlour. Three generations of the family were in attendance. This means that Robert Carmichael Mitchell’s Great, Great, Great Grandchildren have now dined in the house that he built in 1890.

More celebrations to mark the house’s milestone anniversary will take place throughout 2020.
