Yesterday, Lamlash House was filled with the warmth of community spirit and the gentle clink of china as we hosted our much-anticipated Easter Afternoon Tea event. It was a joy to welcome so many familiar faces back to our historic Victorian venue in Newmilns, Ayrshire, for this special occasion.

Our Easter Afternoon Tea is always a highlight in the Lamlash House calendar, and this year was no exception. Guests enjoyed the elegance of our white glove cake stand service, a tradition that brings a touch of bygone sophistication to every table. The Banking Hall provided the perfect backdrop, with its period details.

Seeing returning guests catch up over delicate sandwiches, freshly baked hot cross buns, and pastries reminded us why these public events are so special. The laughter and conversation echoed through the room, creating memories that will linger long after the last cup of tea was poured.

For those who missed out, we’re delighted to announce that our next Afternoon Tea will take place on Saturday, 24th May. This will be the final public Afternoon Tea before we take a short break to focus on private events and celebrations throughout the summer. We encourage anyone interested to secure their place early, as spaces are limited and our events often reach capacity quickly.
