Celebrating Future Hospitality Talent at Dumfries House

Last week, Lamlash House was honoured to attend a special celebration dinner hosted by The King’s Foundation at Dumfries House. The event marked the achievements of students completing the Introduction to Hospitality programme and brought together supporters, mentors, and guests to recognise their progress.
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students to Lamlash House as part of their studies. Seeing them again at this event was a genuinely rewarding experience, with each individual demonstrating remarkable growth in confidence, skill, and enthusiasm for the industry.
The evening itself was a true showcase of emerging talent within Scotland’s hospitality sector. Students took on key roles throughout the event, with some working in the kitchen to produce beautifully presented dishes, while others delivered an exceptional front-of-house service, creating a warm and professional dining experience for all in attendance.
The celebration concluded with a series of inspiring speeches, followed by the presentation of certificates to each student, recognising their dedication and hard work throughout the programme.
At Lamlash House, we are incredibly proud to have played a small part in supporting these future hospitality professionals. It is always a privilege to be involved in initiatives that nurture talent and create meaningful opportunities within our local community. We look forward to following their journeys and seeing the impact they will undoubtedly make within the industry.
