Easter Elegance at Lamlash House: A Cosy Celebration Despite the Weather
Lamlash House welcomed guests on Easter Sunday for a special Afternoon Tea event that brought warmth, charm and seasonal delight to even the coldest of spring days.
The historic banking hall was transformed with Easter-themed decorations, creating a cheerful and inviting setting. Each table had chocolate bunnies awaiting guests — that added a sense of occasion and indulgence from the moment of arrival.
While the weather outside was far from spring-like, with rain, sleet and even snow making an appearance, the atmosphere indoors told a very different story. The space was warm, relaxed and filled with conversation, offering a cosy retreat for guests to enjoy the afternoon.
We were delighted to welcome back a number of familiar faces — loyal patrons of Lamlash House who continue to support and celebrate our events — as well as several new guests joining us for the very first time. It’s always a pleasure to see returning visitors alongside those discovering Lamlash House for the first time, and Easter Sunday proved to be a perfect blend of both.
The Easter-themed Afternoon Tea menu was met with fantastic feedback. Guests enjoyed a selection of seasonal favourites, including pork and apple sausage rolls, freshly prepared carrot cake and a specially created posset that added a light and refreshing finish to the experience.
One returning guest, already familiar with the high standard of previous Afternoon Teas, shared particularly kind words — describing this Easter offering as “the best Afternoon Tea at Lamlash House so far.” Praise such as this is always appreciated and reflects the care and attention that goes into each event.
Despite the wintry conditions outside, Easter Sunday at Lamlash House was a warm and memorable occasion filled with great food, welcoming company and a true sense of seasonal celebration.
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new guests again soon for future events.
Our next public Afternoon Tea event is Saturday 9th May 2026.
